MemberI prefer typing normally, but sometimes i’ll use the whole “c ya” thing, as well as the notorious “lol”.

MemberTo add to what magistyk just said, probably about 95% of the people who are registered at these forums aren’t active. These people might’ve just posted maybe 3 posts, then left. Before they left, though, they might’ve uploaded their own avatar, wasting space. This is why we have the whole “100 posts” thing, where you can ask to have an avatar uploaded for you after posting 100 posts.
Flaming_Guns
MemberJust wondering…wouldn’t it be easier if we all just hosted our own avatars? Then, in our profiles, it would link to the URL of the picture we have hosted?

Memberso they merged? Didn’t realize that…I’ve had my version of Kazaa K++ for a pretty long time now, and haven’t updated it at all. Oh well, I was referring to the old Kazaa K++, to once again clear up confusion.

Unlike the regular Kazaa, no built-in player
LOADS of fake songs
Hard to find complete albums
Not being updated (No one’s really updating the Kazaa K++ servers, so in a while you might not be able to connect)First off, Its not hard to find, as danger boy and myself had posted to links to which to get it from. You can also download it from http://www.oldversion.com . Secondly, by my understandings all klite builds have had built in players, infact 2 of them. The original kazaa one and the AVI preview. Thirdly, it has and will be updated, as I have posted theres a klite 2.6. Its not made by the same programmers but its nothingless then the original. There are many builds of klite after the kazaa lite 2.4.1. Lastly, you can scan through fake mp3 files with mp3 shield as you download them. I urge you to make sure your facts are straight before you post incorrect information.
Kazaa Lite is not K++…they are two different programs. K++ is not on the net anymore, or at least it’s hard to find…Kazaa Lite is. I was referring to K++, which I use. K++ does not have a built in player. And I am aware that you can use Mp3 shield, but that does not make the fact that there are a lot of fake songs untrue.
So basically, I do not believe I am posting incorrect information, as we are referring to two different programs.

MemberScientists actually found through studies that it’s harder for the human brain to comprehend UPPERCASE LETTERS than lowercase letters. i really believe that statement. Watch: Which is easier to read?

MemberTracer: I love you.
in a totally heterosexual way.
the music quality that record labels are putting out into the public is INDEED very very poor right now. or at least poorer than it used to once be. Where’s all the zepplins? Where’s all the indie rock bands? Wheres all the quality?
it’s being destroyed and covered up by the evil anti-dolphin society some people call rap.
*hides from rap fans*
where’s all the originality in songs gone? also…now artists are more concerned about money than the music. Artists are slapping together 10 crappier-beyond-hell songs with 1 semi-good-hit-song to make: another money source.
record labels only care about money now. Which artist has the most talent? Which artist will indeed succeed if given time? They don’t care: they go for what the general public has eaten up like starved hot-dog loving chiuawas, which is rap, hip-hop, and so called “punk rock”, which isn’t even actual punk rock.
Oh, and while i’m still on a roll: justin timberlake can go to hell.
i dont need a reason for saying that. really…i dont.
and hey, the record labels say, while we’re releasing really, really, worse-than-justin-timberlake albums, why don’t we make some “best-of” albums for some artists? Yeah, yeah! That would be a hoot! And we could make like, three best albums! Then we could have, like, the best-of-the-best-of albums, and that would be, like, the king of the best-of albums! That would be SO COOL!
ooh, i didn’t even get started. but i’ll stop myself at that.
ahh, that felt better.

not much of a big suprise. Most forums usually only have less than a half of their members post regularly. But still, considering that this forum has 10,000 registered members, active or not, it still means that there must be a lot of active members. plus, 10000 is a VERY impressive number.
oh yeah, and jeff, how about BBB is like the earth, the lsc is california, and my forum is like Los Angeles?

Memberlooks promising, and i like the layout colours. the links dont work…so i can’t really say much seeing as your page only has one page. I think it’ll be nice, though. Good luck with your site!

Memberlol! Wow…the guys at google have a sense of humor.
dogpile’s pretty nice. very nice meta search.

Memberooh..i’m on the same page with you on that one. warning system sucks.
and, i mean, once you hit 100%, you dont even get booted off.
i tried convincing my friends to switch to Yahoo or MSN, but they were all too ignorant to listen. Once something monopolizes, they’re pretty much there for good.
Flaming_Guns
MemberThe answer is so obvious i wont even say it.
it’s much better than yahoo…yahoo’s searches are COVERED in ads and the only results you can ever get are advertised sites.
that goes for askjeeves too. askjeeves is really hard to use.
MSN is okay…but then again, they have advertised ads…whereas, if you type “Phoenix, AZ” in google you’ll get, most likely, information about the place instead of plane tickets there.

MemberFor some older artists, i suppose that the best of albums are pretty good. But there are some artists who have only released about 4 albums and decide to release a best of album! And most of the time it’s not so much of the artist’s idea but moreso the record label’s. they want to get more money.
But i agree that many Best Of cd’s are nice. But there are just too many.
