Hello – I’m hoping someone can help me with a very frustrating problem. I’ve used AIM for years and have never had any problems until yesterday afternoon. I can sign on with no problems, but once I send one IM the program (just AIM) freezes. Eventually the dialogue box goes white with a [Not Responding] message at the top. I have to shut down, and start it up again and I can IM again one time, and then it freezes again.

I have the same problem. I hadn’t upgraded AIM at all when the problem first started, then I upgraded to the latest version and it has continued. The most recent change to my computer is the install of battlefield 2, but i don’t think a game like that could screw with AIM but it is posible.

Downloading the beta now to see if that fixes it

The beta has seemed to fix my problems with the crashing. I’ll use this for a little bit to see if i like it, but so far it is a little too cluttered with the whole voice video games files tabs thing
