I certainly wouldn’t mind an invite, forbesb [at] tpg [dot][com]
Cheers in advance if your invites trickle down this far 🙂[edit] at previous post, The OP said that preferential treatment would be given so I guess that sortof helps the situation
frenzalMemberSome of the previous posts have stated that when KMD upgrades its protocols those using kazaalite, k++ or k-lite whatever you like to call your version will be unable to connect to the Kazaa fasttrack network. There is error in this, because as long as there are supernodes that are still using k-lite or an earlier version of kazaa those using k-lite will still be able to trade, they just won’t be able to see any of the supernodes using the proper KMD, so there is really no way that k-lite can become obsolete besides users choosing alternate file sharing networks.
Personally i think that the updating of the protocol could be a good thing for k-lite users as a lot of the corrupt files would not be coming from k-lite hosts but from proper KMD users, resulting in an increase in the quality of the network even though the amount of files will be less they should be of better quality.
