As I remember it, there’s no specific program or direct method of finding out if you’ve been blocked. There is a way to do it I think, where you use this on-line checker to see the status of any user. Obviously, if it says they’re online, but they’re offline on your buddy list then you’ve been blocked. I don’t have the link to the html tag or whatever it is that does this, can someone else post it?
grimm139Membern/m.. figured it out. quite simple actually..
grimm139Memberwell how come the png’s are text and not images
grimm139MemberEven the file to get them from will do cuz I can’t even find that..
grimm139Memberwhat’s it say when it doesn’t let you on?
grimm139MemberBah… Maybe when the final version comes out…
grimm139MemberAlright. To anyone who had the service problem, I used a program called Zone Alarm. Get it, install it, run it, then run MSN Messenger and when Zone Alarm asks you if you want to allow MSN Messenger to access the net, say yes and to remember your decision…
grimm139Memberwoo hoo! Zone Alarm worked
grimm139MemberHow would one go about doing that? This goes for the changing of the time, and the firewall server thing.
grimm139MemberYeah, what do you mean by change and correct it?
grimm139MemberWell I guess mine isn’t connecting to their .NET service… cuz I tried to get a .NET passport and the wizard couldn’t connect to it. So I’m not quite sure where to go from there…
grimm139MemberWhat if you don’t have Messenger Plus installed…
grimm139MemberI have a weird problem… The first time I tried opening MSN Messenger 6.0 (this morning) it worked fine, and everything was great. Then, tonight, it gives me an error when I try to sign in…
“We were unable to sign you in to .NET Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with the service or with your internet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.
Click the Help button to check the current service status.”
I click Help, and all the services are stable and passed. My friend’s works fine, and I have cable internet and I didn’t change anything with it. When I uninstall it and install MSN Messenger 5.0, it works fine, but whenever I try 6.0 it doesn’t work. This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that it worked perfectly in the beginning and then just went dead. Can anyone help me?
