Thanks for your suggestions guys. It worked for me. But what if I don’t know in what room the user is if he doesn’t accept the pm’s? How can I know where to join him without he conveying it to me?
After a careful study, I found the Join User in a Chat room[/b] under Chat Menu in the Main Messenger window box. It serves my purpose and life is smooth n easy as it used to be 5.6 in following a user.:)
Now I will reinstall YM 6.0 Beta;) and stick to it since I uninstalled it thinking that feature was deleted from it:(

thanx for your replies guys. I do that all the time. I know that changing the id from the drop down box to alias results in what the other person see’s as my id.
I was just wondering if I can my pm window reflect the same alias instead of the parent id because when I copy n paste the pm text, my parent id is revealed not the alias.
