Is there any way to record a conversation at all possible if the setting is set to no?

Basically, I’d like to monitor a younger siblings chat log to make sure they aren’t getting targeted by a pedofile or anything of the sort…

I’ve heard of keyloggers and such, but not really sure. Can anyone reccomend a good discreet program?
