Click on the aim icon (the yellow dot) and if you’ve got more than one aim connection then click on the one you want. In this menu choose personal options -> edit profile.
I’m afraid if you want html profiles you’ll have to type the html tags yourself in text, although you can see the results if you have the minibrowser plugin.

Hi. Having searched the trillian forums, this thread seems most relevant, but unfortunately doesn’t have a solution (sort of making a new yahoo id). You could try changing the server for yahoo from “scs.yahoo.com” to “scsb.yahoo.com”, perhaps that would help (how you do this depends on your version of trillian, it’s in account preferences). If that doesn’t work I’ll try to think of a couple more ideas.

There is a program under development called the “skingen” edit 2: ok, the skingen WILL happen, soon or later. You can visit the author’s site from time to time to see if it’s ready (the site is down atm, should be back up soon).
Note that there is a technology called “/stixe” in Trillian Pro which allows you to just change the graphics rather than deal with lots of XML code. If you want help with this or with skinning in general if you’re adventerous, the best place to ask is the trillian skin dev forum. You can also find a tutorial on skinning from scratch here and some resources here.

The font on the buddy list depends on what skin you’re using. To change the font you could just change the skin.
On the other hand if you really like the skin you’re using at the moment, you could try hacking the skin a little (which is perfectly ok if you don’t try and distribute it). If you want to try this tell me what skin you’re using and I’ll happily help.
You could try clicking the yahoo connection icon (normally a red circle) and clicking “refresh contact list”. I find that the yahoo contact list isn’t that reliable for online prensence in trillian, but then I found that in yahoo messenger too [:P]

Have you ever used Trillian? This question makes no sense whatsover. Trillian and MSN are seperate IM clients. Trillian has the ability to send IM through MSN servers so you can communicate with other MSN users. You do not however get the BETA features of MSN 6 unless Trillian updates its client to include them. Trillian’s compatability is with MSN servers, not the different versions of clients. It does not matter whether you are using Trillian, Messenger 4.7, 5.0, or 6 Beta as they all use the same MSN servers to communicate with each other. Hence making the version you are running irrelevant.
Er, funny how smug you’re being considering you don’t know what you’re talking about. Trillian has had patches for each of AIM 5.0 and ICQ2Go (and probably others in the past), because talking to these new messengers over the existing servers and protocol wasn’t supported by Trillian. It makes sense that it could happen again with MSN messenger 6.
To answer the question, Trillian (both free and pro) does seem to work with the MSN beta. In the past, to their credit, Microsoft have actually told Trillian’s makers about protocol changes before they’ve even happened, so your MSN connection in Trillian is pretty likely to stay good for a long time to come. If you want the new features of MSN messenger 6 (buddy icon, new webcam, games etc) I’m afraid this is very unlikely to come in the next version of Trillian, but they should come eventually.
