I’ve been having the exact same problem since yesterday afternoon. I’ve now tried logging on using 4 different Macs using 4 different operating systems and using 4 different versions of YIM (including the latest available for Macs). I’ve attempted deleting all the old versions on my computers and downloading the newest version and reinstalling again. Nothing has worked. Type 2 or Type 3 error and an automatic quit (if I’m lucky), or it freezes up the whole system. Yahoo support hasn’t written me back yet either (of course).
I’m assuming this has to do with their switch over to a new system, but does anyone have any clue if they’re even aware of this Mac specific problem or not?
