Memberppl stop going to add/remove to uninstall msn messenger. it will always go to the wrong folder to get to the msnmsgs.msi file. u have to search for it if u dont know where it is. C:WINDOWSSYSTEMMSN Messenger 6.0.0602 it should be there. if not go to start, find to search ur comp for it.

this is where the msnmsgs.msi file is. add/remove goes to the wrong folder. it will be here if u “open” instead of “save” when the prompt comes up.subzero373K
Memberi think they mean those pop up that say dl the newest version of msn. u just click on them and this box in the corners says do not recieve this message or something to that effect. just check the box and theyll stop coming.

Memberits not a problem w/ signing in. its just a problem w/ loading the conv. window and pop ups.

Memberno1s IMing me. thats the problem. the window opens up to load the window but its freezes and never loads it u just see the outline of where the window would be the contents are clear. this is the same thing w/ my pop up. i think ill have to wait until the next update. 🙁

if u search on comp using that search thing on that start menu ull find the msnmsgsi.msi file. mine was there.subzero373K
Memberits looking in the wrong folder for the msnmsgs.msi file. search for it on ur comp. it should be in c://WINDOWS/SYSTEMS/MSNMESSENGER. or u could choose browse and search for it that way on ur comp

Memberyes i uninstalled and reinstalled msn messenger about 8 times. I have windows 98. I have those most updated ie. I forgot how much ram i have its that normal number that most games ask for. I have more than enough disk space.–
