MemberHas he tried reinstalling – cleaning off all the old files from his pc and starting new? I know that sometimes if I accidentally hit the arrow key (specifically up) it will insert the message I just sent someone. Usually if I’m scrolling doing too many things at once this will happen.

MemberIf I understand you correctly you want to delete a group list off of your messenger…make sure you have deleted all of the IDs from that group, then delete the group. ((Under Tools, Manage Friends List)

MemberOreo…A whisper is a private or instant message. I’ve heard a couple of people refer to them as “whispers” as well…

MemberYour “In Short” answer was perfect… like I said it was a suggestion. If it can’t be done, it can’t. I totally understand how complicated it would probably be to implement but us computer illiterate think everything looks easy 🙂

MemberIf the kids want free coke they know to come to my house anyways since hub conveniently works for Coca-Cola.. but that IS an original idea. I’m just thinking of the little ones that’ll have to lug that can of soda around with them and all that candy. Thanks for all the suggestions!

MemberHe didn’t cheat, I think the dark chair behind him gives the impression that the t-shirt isn’t tied..but the PICS are GREAT!! Shouldn’t there be a mod requirement to have a ninja pic? hahaha;)

MemberInstead of adding a new topic I thought I’d add comments here. A friend sent me a link to read regarding personal use of your work computer.

Obviously, I use my work computer to surf online, chat with friends, etc. I have used Yahoo! Messenger for the past 4 years here at work. It is also used by many other employees at my corporation (unofficially). Of course I watch where I go and who I talk to, but I find it useful instead of picking up the phone and calling for small problems or questions. It has also saved me on days that are incredibly slow when chatting with friends. Yahoo seems to be the only messenger that works through our firewalls and is easy to troubleshoot when problems arise.
This news article was interesting to me. Should the people at work who are in violation of company policy using IM consider going this far and buy these protective devices?

MemberThe contact info will show up no matter what if you’re using subprofiles under your original yahoo profile. If you want something brand new then create a whole different yahoo name/account and don’t add contact info.
I’m not understanding why this is a big deal, you can’t see it unless you use the always use nickname in appearance and if it bothers you that much then type in your screenname.

MemberActually I believe he is referring to the “edit contact info” under the Login Menu. There is no way to delete what you already have unless you replace it.
