MemberHi,
SoliCall has just released a new version that allows you to record your calls also in MP3 format. Plus it shows you signal graphs to SEE the improvement in audio quality.
Enjoy.Tim654
MemberEagle Kiwi, I hear you, but the recording feature DOES work with YIM. I’ve tried it myself a couple of times. However, I did notice that when I invite all the participants to join at once, Yahoo has a bug that makes it work through Microsoft audio devices and not through Solicall. So the solution is to invite people separately (i.e. start a regular call and then add more people).
Re the sound quality, you got it right, if there are no bg noises, then there is nothing to reduce. But in my case, my friends sometimes have more than one disturbing noise (kids, radio etc.) and that’s when I can tell the difference. With one of my friends it even helped with excessive echo problems that he had.
Cheers,
Tim

MemberA free new beta software called SoliCall will record you calls with no hidden limitations.
In addition, it reduces background noise so the conversation is more relaxed.
BTW, Eagle_Kiwi please note that it can also record calls made with Skype, Google Talk and any other softphone …
You can download it at SoliCall – Noise Reduction Software and Recorder
