Today is November 25, 2008…
Looked in on BigBlueBall and was excited to see a post from Torseq Tech about the re-release of YTK Lite. So I downloaded it, and everything seemed fine.
But after signing out, I discovered that the program had saved none of my settings after logging in several hours later. I was confused. I thought I had forgotten to check a box, somewhere. So I visited Torseq’s support forums, and discovered that they have discontinued support (again) for the free version of YTK that allows potential paid users of their groundbreaking software to “Try it out”.
Their website claims that, as it’s still just the two of them, they have no time to devote to the support of the free “Lite” version.
Well surely, between the two of them, with as many posts as appear on their behalf within BigBlueBall forums, they must be able to take a few moments, and ask that any direct link to a free download of YTK Lite be removed from BigBlueBall, at least until such time as they can facilitate the necessary resources to maintain a manageable support base.
Thank You for your time
