ParticipantI work at a newspaper, and we use macs and adobe products for all of our photography and such. We use PC’s just for the simple task’s. Reports, email ect.
I have used both Macs, and PC’s. I actually put my 2.4Ghz P4 in the attic over my mac. I do everything on my mac. The same software is available for both. CompUSA, and online has the same games and in my opinion run better. My macs have rarely ever crashed. I use adobe products at home and never had them crash. In my opinion Macs are the way to go, even if they do cost a bit more, but you get more.

ParticipantThey do run faster compared to a PC. Plus, they work. Ive used macs for years, and have no problem paying higher prices for a dependable computer. I couldnt find a comparison for the G4 but here is one for the G5’s. http://www.apple.com/powermac/performance/

ParticipantThere is no need to run the program as many times as you want. Under accounts, you can add as many as you want and use it with one program.

Participantoops sorry Beetle1283, I was at work and skimming over topics.
As far as the website goes, sometimes it works for me, and sometimes it doesnt. Maybe he needs a new server

ParticipantLivesNaBox posted in another topic that there is a tab program here http://users.mnemonic.net/freeezer that works with 5.5. I downloaded it and added it to my aim.
The site doesn’t always work however

ParticipantDid you still check the Email? It is possible your account expired from non-usage, and someone else registered that email.

ParticipantMy ICQ is 103623, I use it now because it was one of my first, and the lower #’s are important these days lol.
I have 259487 also, but it wont always connect for some reason. Also, I have 485290 but ICQ unregistered that one.
The lowest #’s I have seen were 5 digit when I was a beta tester. I had ICQ “workers” add me to thier lists.

ParticipantYou can get an unsigned certificate at http://www.aimencryption.com or you could watch this thread https://bigblueball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7921 and there is an addon being developed that lets you use the lock.

ParticipantLast time I opened Mozilla Firebird, I do not believe I seen a splash screen 😉
Back to the topic. IF you want to keep IE. The google toolbar has done a great job for me. If you are looking for an all in one browser with many more features, then download Mozilla. No need to argue over personal opinions.
Just for clarification. Mozilla Firebird is not Mozilla 1.5, nor any of the Netscape browsers.
