😀 Well I dont know about your away message bout you can see who is veiwing your profile by going to venius.Subprofile.com and sign up for a free (nohidden cost at all) for the coolest profile EVER! I have one you can check mine if you would like, its Brittanyblink87 on AOL IM, you can select what you want your proflie to look like and whats inside. In just a couple of click you will have the coolest profile you have ever seen. Good-luck and remeber it looks hard but its so easy.
P.S.- You can select one of the things to show who has veiwed your profile, look at my profile and you can see what I mean. If you have a chance sign my guestbook 4 me pleaze. Thank-you and good luck! 😎Brittany
i would go to http://www.xprofile.net it doesn’t open up in your info box but it does open in Internet Explorer or w/e u have. it has options that let you insert pictures, games, DHTML and JavaScript. Just go to the link and thats it. (great for newbies)

This may be alot of work, but it’s worth a try. Make a website with pics, then you could link to that site in your profile with a self targeting hyperlink. Self targeting hyperlinks are those used on SubProfiles and such.
April 5, 2003 at 3:50 pm #102910rockerjockMemberSorry Untitled but this doesnt work as stated before. AIM doesnt have the capabilities to show pictures in profiles. The only way to get it to work is using an editor that transforms your picture so it can be seen in AIM. One problem is the quality is horrible but i guess its better than nothing

April 16, 2003 at 4:09 am #102916NemerosisMembersorry to be one of those people who pop up out of nowhere with a random question, but i have been here a few times, and i have had trouble with the trick where you can be AWAY without actually being away, i did all the steps you said, but after clicking and hitting the space bar about 15-20 times, i get an error message about “Could not set Away state, try again”. can someone tell me whats wrong please? BTW i am using DeadAIM which is an AIM cloner.
April 17, 2003 at 2:50 pm #102888Zlink123MemberIts a good possibility that the ‘be away without being away’ trick no longer works on newer versions of AIM. I know I used to be able to do it on older versions but after the latest release I couldn’t. Now I just use the idlemon.dll trick to make myself idle whenever. Idling is sortof like being away, people know you aren’t there so they don’t talk.
May 26, 2003 at 7:54 am #102919Yikes777MemberI serve my AIM profile from my own web server. I use the http-equiv refresh tag in my AIM profile to automatically load my HTML document when someone requests my profile.
I am in search of a way to have my HTML document query my online status and display the appropriate away message inside the HTML document. Anyone have any ideas?
I am interested in doing it this way because I like to do some cool HTML stuff with my profile (like pics, etc.) that the integrated profile mdule won’t allow.
