April 26, 2005 at 4:46 pm #120389time_isMemberwhats the deal? close out of aim and it’s not in the system tray? what’s up with the aol thing that IS in the system tray? this beta is whacked
April 26, 2005 at 7:44 pm #120385f0rbezMemberI don’t like that either. But it is an early beta, what can we expect? I like the direction their moving in though. Now, they just need to integrate the features and update some of the older things like smilies.
I think that this new AIM is going to be extremely customizable, since its almost entirely based on xml and javascript.
April 26, 2005 at 8:00 pm #120400chikenkickerMemberthey’re trying to look like the new yahoo messenger, since they’re both 6.0 i guess they decided we’ll change our look too
April 26, 2005 at 11:45 pm #120394aznballa161Participanti like the appearance, but they need to add some old features. hopefully they will late on.
April 27, 2005 at 3:58 am #120392_Max_Memberim likin it, i dont like the missing taskbar button, also no profiles? also im not too crazy about the 3 buttons on the bottom IM Talk and Actions…..random? they should keep the buttons like on the older versions..IM Chat Info and Setup. very slick layout. over all i think its pretty good. i cant wait to see what the final product will look like.
April 27, 2005 at 4:44 am #120384Someguy03MemberMax, those features aren’t there yet, but will be soon. This was a pretty early beta, and those features will be implemented later (AOL explains this in a discussion with BetaNews.com).
April 27, 2005 at 4:54 pm #120404BlinkMM182MemberThis may be early or maybe noone knows….but does anyone have the problem in which none of the buttons work? I can send recieve IM but if i go to click file, it does nothing…it just highlights the word
