So far I’m not really liking Triton. I would have preferred they took 5.5 and add tabbing and the ability to individually set linked screen names away.
I also don’t like how the linked screen names are all in one long list and how the AIM guy looks to be running instead of walking.
the aim guy is supposed to look like hes running hes “AOL’s running man” logo
I downloaded it, and my Adware/Spyware remover alerted me of tons of spyware that AIM had. Yet another reason not to get AIM 6.0
Bronxy, what adware/spyware program do you use and what did it find? I use Ad-aware, but it didn’t find anything.
I have Webroot Spy Sweeper.
I dont remember what came up though.
webbackdoor or something like that.
If I download it again and it comes up ill let u know.
i thought it was pretty cool – you can say stuff while ur away
really? hmmm i dought AIM would do that on perpas..im guessing its another bug
hate to burst ur bubbles..lol
Im, having troubles logging in to AIM beta. The program worked fine the first day but now once i enter in my information and press enter is just freezes up. I have to go in through task manger and kill it. Anyone else getting this problem. (and yes, i realize its beta, i just have so many problems with AIM 5.9 logging on and off every 10 mins i would love to avoid that with beta)
I dont like how they got rid of (or at least doesn’t have yet) the ability to minimize completley to the taskbar, I always kept it there… also that AOL network thing is stupid, it wont leave, I have to manually remove it through task manager
