I’m trying to find a new homepage to set on IE because the one that I had all along is now closing down (hispeed.rogers.com) and I don’t like the new one that they have. So anyways, I was wondering what you guys have set as your homepage. I would want one to have main news, headlines, scoreboard, stocks, weather and entertainment news. And hopefully with little or no ads on the page.
Thanks.

otherwise you could use google, or any number of news sites

August 29, 2004 at 7:25 pm #73275Dr KimbleParticipantI like to use Google because whenever I need to find something quick, all I have to do is hit the house icon on the top of my IE window. It is quick and simple.
But since you want something with news and little ads try http://www.individual.com/login.php
It will display the latest news that interests you most.August 29, 2004 at 11:05 pm #73272lazyturboMemberHmm…out of all those, I would say that my.msn comes closest to what I had before. Unfortunately, alot of the news is from the US and the page just looks like all text. There doesn’t seem to be a my.msn.ca for Canada.
I don’t want something like Google as my homepage because its just a search engine. I already have the Google toolbar so there’s no point. I want to open up something where I can read some quick news and also looks good.

Relatively fast loadup and I like to check my email lots
Well I have two homepages (i use firefox that supports tabbed browsing), and my other homepage is forums which I visit a lot, (sadly it’s not BBB)August 29, 2004 at 11:36 pm #73286EliteNickMemberI agree with AnimeUSA – About:blank is the best.

August 30, 2004 at 4:44 pm #73280neo_ny_23MemberHmm,
I use object dock in my desktop settings. so there are three shortcuts
1. with hotmail.com as its home page ( for checking my emails )
2. with google.com as its home page ( it loads faster and I do lots of searches around the web )
3. with bigblueball.com/forums since I check the messages here almost every day n try to contribute as much as I can. -
