sorry for that post. its just that I cant firure it out. and I thought you all are knowledgebull (that even a word) to help . so far you have. but I dont want this to be kicked to the side like it was before. sorry as I stated before.
about double posting. I know the rules to forums, i’m on one all day. I just wasnt logged in. my bad. I do have a firewall. BUT it not active. I never fully set it up right. i’ll check it out though. thanks.
Uhhh… Have y’all tried restarting your CPU? That might be the problem. **** never works when you install it and decline the option of restarting your CPU.
I got it to work. thanks alot for all the help. it WAS the firewall, I unistalled it and goin to reinstall it. thanks again.
hey for everyone’s future reference AIM defaults to port 5190 not 1590 😉
