ParticipantWe just had the Folk Festival here, and a new season of the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra will be starting up in a few weeks (which of course I want to buy season tickets for, AGAIN).
I also am going to be volunteering for the Fringe Festival, which has it’s fair amount of musical shows. And of course volunteers recieve free tickets to anything at the festival, if not the free t-shirts alongside that. 😀

ParticipantI just heard Tea Party got added to the SARS Relief lineup! Sweet concert, wish I was there. We need a Mad Cow relief concert here in Alberta I think!! (although we’d probably only get a bunch of country artists :() I heard your only allowed to bring 2 water bottles to the concert though – gonna be alot of people suffering from dehydration!!

ParticipantQuote:quote:I heard your only allowed to bring 2 water bottles to the concert thoughYup, two unopened bottles. Tho, I’m sure we can buy stuff there, tho I dont think I can afford ten bucks for s 600ml bottle of water if that.
Tho, the water thing isnt half as bad as what they arnt allowing you to bring.
Apparenty, you cant bring lawn chairs, blankets, unbrellas, yr car… idiots.July 21, 2003 at 3:44 am #97556shifter
ParticipantWell, I just got back from seeing the Foo Fighters in Edmonton – It kicked some serious ass!! If you ever get the chance, I strongly recommend seeing these guys live! They put on a great show, and Dave Grohl has an amazing stage presence. The show was a sell out, and the boys played everything i hoped for – saving Everlong (my personal fav. and the highlight of the show!) for last in the encores. Can’t wait to see em again! We don’t get alot of big name bands passing through here up north, so it was very special for me to get to see my current favourite playing here again!
