Yahoo! do not need to IM/PM people
There is a messaging service built into Yahoo! Messenger.
How they are able to call up the “discontinuing support for 5.6.60 messengers” message
And similar other system messages.
They have no need to PM/IM at all.

It’s amusing to see that this old problem still somehow draws a lot of attention today. Probably because a lot of people decide to pretend they work for Yahoo!…..
Sorry to bump this old thread up i really am but i looked into this and discovered that this Chatroom Regulator was barred of Yahoo and apparently he did actually get a visit from the authorities from trying to access peoples personal information.
Thats really getting out of hand i swear some nutjob getting personal info on people they have never met. Yahoo needs a good clean up
