w/e…Its still unfair…
May 15, 2005 at 2:54 am #118843detn8rParticipantMay I ask what you find unfair? The staff is open to suggestions all the time, so please understand this.
Also, understand that we have chosen the colour black, as the default colour for fonts as it is the most visible to read, especially for those with a eye sight handicap.
Font colours are used for emphasis purposes only, meaning to outline only specific things. This does not include making your post look like an Easter basket with using the colour pink, or purple etc.
To end this point, you should no longer have any valid reasons to argue. If you feel you have been robbed of any rights, please remember services are provided as privileges, and so such right exists. If you have any further questions/problems please PM a moderator or better yet, the administrator. Thanks.

DaveTheres nothing wrong with it…
Yes, yes there is. I’m tired of reading hot pink on a white background. If you continue to encapsulate your entire post in a color, your account will be suspended (This is a violation of the forum policies).
Thanks;
DaveThat is your personal problem…not mine….No one else has a problem with it..or Ill change the color…
I see no problem at all with my actions in this situation, this user is a fool to think that it’s *my* personal problem that I don’t enjoy reading his pink text. I will give this user one more warning if s/he continues to post in this way, after that I will set a temporary ban. I simply refuse to read text like that, I don’t find that unreasonable.
May 15, 2005 at 1:48 pm #118845OreoMemberIt’s in the guidelines. I think the new staff did a fantastic job of dealing with the situation. IF this person MUST use hot pink, perhaps there’s a “My Pretty Pony” or “Barbie” forum site where that’s encouraged.
EDIT: Just read your post again Dave, you were completely right to do what you did. If the person was reasonable, it should only have taken ONE PM to solve the problem. I would have done the same.
