ok so I go to play halo (on my PC) and I get this… (its what my screen looks like)
January 29, 2005 at 12:31 am #113179Someguy03MemberWhen does this happen? (At what point in the game)
January 29, 2005 at 12:49 am #113183MartinBradleyMemberAnd which graphics card do you have?
Give us as much information as possible, it’ll help to give you a more accurate answer. Thanks.
January 29, 2005 at 1:33 am #113185kyuubiMemberComputer Specs and Graphic Card? Have you updated your Drivers Recently? When did this start to happen? Does it happen with any other games?
January 29, 2005 at 2:55 am #113177OreoMemberDid it work before and now it’s not? My guess is your card is not strong enough for the game. A lot of newer games require a stronger card and chip.
January 29, 2005 at 4:26 am #113187DrBroccoliParticipantwell the game worked flawlessly with graphics at full when I had the demo, I thought maybe something the ISO was corrupted? and way specs:

- Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP
- Pentium processor
- 933MHz
- 128MB RAM

January 29, 2005 at 4:53 am #113195LinuxAddictMemberTry lowering the resolution. I have the same problem if the resolution is too high for my monitor.
January 29, 2005 at 5:19 am #113188DrBroccoliParticipantOk so I took my resolution to 800×600 with 16bit color depth and yet no change
January 29, 2005 at 8:59 am #113180Someguy03MemberAgain, When does this happen? When you try and load a level? When the opening video for the game begins?
Also, I would try playing the game with the actual CD (if you have access to the original CD ;)) and see if that works. If it does, then its the ISO.

The game must come with some setup or configuration utility which enables you to pick screen resolution and graphics mode. The game will surely work in ‘Software’ (not Direct3D) mode, but then you will basically disable all the extended graphics features. It might also work in Direct3D mode, if you play a bit with the graphics modes and color depths the game uses. Simply start at the lowest resolution and work your way up, until you’ve reached the maximum your videocard can handle. 😉January 29, 2005 at 2:32 pm #113186kyuubiMemberbut really….lol…..new Graphic card maybe?….you can get one cheap for like $30…..but anyways….have you update your graphic card driver lately?…
January 29, 2005 at 3:59 pm #113189DrBroccoliParticipantok the problem starts as soon I as I open it up, I have no chance to go to options to lower resolution or anything, I double click it and it opens and goes straight to the weirdness.

I’m sure there is one. If not, you have a poorly supported game as well as a crappy video card. 🙂Tried reinstalling the game?
January 29, 2005 at 4:53 pm #113190DrBroccoliParticipantwell I looked and counldnt find anything like that, also I just want to say again that when I had the demo it worked perfectly with graphic settings on full and resloution high
I would assume that my graphics card is suffcient for this game considering the reguirements only state 32MB DirectX graphics card and mine is a 128mb DirectX card
January 29, 2005 at 8:34 pm #113181Someguy03MemberDo you have a group of unique settings for your integrated graphics? If so, could you post a screenshot of them? I had to have my Radeon graphics quality set to “balanced” because when I had it on full it would do what yours does. So if you do have an option similar to mine, I would try changing that.
