Finally , it took me almost 2 days, but I found the answer on how to rid magic ps 142 trojan from my computer, none of these suggestions here work at all, none of the spybot programs detected it, no anti viruses detected it, not even the magic patch worked, I kept researching pages, and finally found this one http://de.trendmicro-europe.com/enterprise/security_info/ve_detail.php?Vname=TROJ_ALIGHT14.B I went to locating the malware, and there it was spoolsvr.exe and Flashplayer32.exe in files and folders, they were no able to be deleted, until I went to the task manager and ended the process on spoolsvr.exe , then the two files and folders were able to be deleted and it was gone
hello…need some help, i’ve been trying all the solutions that you gave up, but non of them works. Is it because I did something wrong or there is a last version which has no solution yet? Really need help cuz a stupid guy is fooling around with my ID.

pheeeeewwwwww….i finally got rid of the MagicPS v1.5. took me 2 days to do it, had I known this site was here I would have gotten rid of it earlier. I tried about 10 scans and nothing worked, (it found other trojans- just not the MagicPS v1.5.) Untill I used panda, http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm So i’d like to thank RoKgOdDeSs and coolguy and i’d have to agree Nortons didn’t pick it up , normally it would have but I guess not in this case. So ….ya gotta love panda.. thanks peeps ..

I cant access my Task Manager of Registry and I tried to run gpedit.msc but it says its an unkown application, and I know this has something to do with Magic ps 1.5, I seem to be removing it and it keeps coming back(but I think I mightve fixed that) but what I really need help is with the Registry and Task Manager
All of this is just a tad confusing but I’m trying to see if I got this right.. if you click on control + shift+esc and your task monitor comes up and you the spooler.exe in it.. that means you’ve been hacked? Or that means you have a malware( confusing look) on your computer? I’ve seen this spooler.exe.. in my task monitor before even when nothing else was running but I never knew what it was..

I’ve been scanning over what you guys have been saying about Magic PS. I downloaded something yesterday called magicps15remover. I don’t know what it did but it’s messed my computer up or something. I sent an error report to Microsoft and they told me that there is a device driver problem but they didn’t know anymore than that. I have never heard of this Magic PS stuff and I haven’t experienced any flashing boxes or anything. Can anyone tell me what this particular software I downloaded is or does and how I can get back or fix whatever it did? It went and removed something I guess in exe. That’s all I know. Please help. 🙁
hi ,, my pc is infected by Magic Ps 1.43 , I tried program called The cleaner , its good for magic 1.5 and 1.1 but 1.43 is still .. I found the message in the archive ( hacked by magic ps 1.43) and I kenw the guy that hacked me , and still untill now he can see my password whenever I change . is there any way to solve it? the v 1.43 seems to be hard to remove specially I cant. anyway the patch I recieved and open was named ( cood ) please help?
Hi there! I need some help! my task manager is disabled by the “administrator” I tried doing what m4id3n said but when I go on Start Run and
Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK it says windows cannot find ‘gpedit.msc’ I can’t do system restore because of this, because when I go on run, and type in ‘msconfig’ and click enter, the damn box disappears! I done a scan with panda, a full scan, and I had loads of infected files! it come up with stuff like:

and another one the same but saying disinfected, and other saying No Disinfected!

There is loads more, but I don’t know much about computers, so if anyone wants to see the text file, if that would help then I would send it to you, but I don’t think you need it! So can anyone help me then! I know it’s definatly Magic PS i’ve been infected by, disabling the task magage and system restore, because my sister exected the file and opened it, from some WHO I know! idiots! could you please e-mail me your help, if not then i’ll have to check here thanks

Is your problems solved yet? If not, boot your Windows into safe mode and run any up-to-date antivirus and anti-spyware application to get rid of Magic-PS or whatever is infecting your computer. If you think you have a new type (variant) of Magic-PS, please upload it somewhere such as Geocities, zip the file with a password that your sister received and give me the link. I definitely am going to analyze it to update my Antivirus software, (if it is new). Currently my software is not publicly release yet…in case you ask for a copy.
