Had some prick tell me if I talked crap to him, in which I did but he started it, he somehow shut me down, he sent me like a million things, view webcam, add buddy, asked for my file permission, all within about 10 seconds, next thing I know messenger shut down, how the heck did he do that?
May 25, 2003 at 2:58 pm #62487OreoMemberHe overloaded your system and probably froze or shut you down. What you need to do it get Y!Tunnel and/or configure your messenger to just ignore webcam and chat requests automatically. Also, if you have his nick (Be ware that he probably has others and that one may not even exist anymore) put him on permanent ignore in preferences in privacy. ALSO, I would refer him to Yahoo! they don’t do THAT much about people like that, but if more of us complain about these things, they might actually start to crack down on them.
May 26, 2003 at 3:17 am #62497lissa2031MemberI dont think they did that, for some reason he did like 20 things all at one time, how can that be possible within the matter of seconds, they all came through at one time, he has to have a program or something?
May 26, 2003 at 2:04 pm #62486OreoMemberThere are some sort of boot programs and tricks (which I have NO CLUE how to do, nor is this the place to share them). BUt what they do is overload your system so it either freezes the program or shuts down. There are some nasty things out there…. Y!Tunnel is your best bet to protect yourself.
May 27, 2003 at 3:18 pm #62491NettiMemberOnce again I agree with Oreo – Go get some protection. There are boot programs out there for EVERYTHING. So get something to protect yourself as well.
May 28, 2003 at 2:29 am #62488mraussieviccplMemberlissa he is a big hero hiding behind his yahoo and booting everyone who does not agree with hie views. get ytunnel as there are lots of little kiddies out there in chat who have boot programs and use them without any thought at any time.
June 2, 2003 at 5:06 am #62496lissa2031Memberstill doesnt tell me what he used to do this? I personally want to get even, he does it to me all the time now…… I have tried everything to block him, he keeps switching sn names and all!
June 2, 2003 at 1:11 pm #62485OreoMemberYou need to get Y!Tunnel and block all PM’s, Cam requests, etc…..from people not on your friends list. OR I believe you can even go into preferences and do the same thing. It will suck for a while because you won’t be able to make new friends. But it will be worth it to get this guy off of your back. And if you are not computer savvy, I would not suggest you try to go pc to pc with this guy; you may end up worse off than now. Also, I would suggest that you check your PC for trojans and viruses. ALSO, try going under a different screen name and deactivate your usual one for a bit. (You can do that through the messenger window under login and then “My Profiles” just unclick the sn that he knows of yours and it will no longer be seen as online when you log in) Good Luck…..his Karma is bad…don’t worry…something will come around and get him!
June 2, 2003 at 10:04 pm #62490NettiMemberLissa, if you are asking what particular program this person used to boot you, there is no answer to that. There are thousands of them, and more created every day. Everytime something get’s updated, more boot programs get written. So you’re probably on your own to figure out HOW they did it.
June 4, 2003 at 12:32 am #62481gaz_berottenMemberLisa email me [email protected] and i will show you just how people like this are broken down in a matter of seconds
Look after your self and make him worrie:)

June 4, 2003 at 10:22 pm #62500j_hop_99MemberY tunnel is illegal to use and may cause your messanger account to be locked ….Any one saying ytunnel is ok has never read the terms of service for yahoo..also ytunnel connects to the internet on its own leaving ports 80 and 81 wide open for any to get in……..use jave chat along with messanger and u wont get crashed or booted… Chet Simpson is nothing more then an extorsionist he writes tunnel and the writes progs to boot it lol and no one sees it
June 4, 2003 at 10:42 pm #62489NettiMemberWhat are the terms in yahoo that make ytunnel illegal? and if it’s illegal, why is yahoo doing nothing to stop it, all they have to do is make a call??? Personally I love ytunnel, and it’s the best thing I ever purchased. I just love the Super Iggy Bin. LMAO!!
