ofcourse its better having something than nothing, but they should provide updates for all new comming booters.they shouldn’t?
May 30, 2003 at 4:40 pm #62399NettiMemberI totally agree with Jeff. No program out there (even at Microsoft) can keep up patching holes where people get in. And New boots are created HOURLY. But this program stops a lot of the OLD boots, and even if it didn’t, getting rid of most of the bots and ads is sure worth it to me.
rythem, I think what Jeff was trying to say is that you can’t create a patch for boots that haven’t even been thought of yet. However, with the new version of ytunnel, you will receive a pop up windowing advising you there is a patch for new boot code. You click it and it will update the ytunnel version already on your system with the new patches. You no longer should have to download another version of ytunnel, it will keep updating the one you have.
May 30, 2003 at 5:07 pm #62403hoopyMemberHi Guys, Well just wanted to say I use the Paid version of Ytunnel and its just great! (Bows to the ytunnel gods!). I no longer have pop up ads, boots, the missing chatters in chat rooms, any unwanted invites and my favorite… no more pms from the 50 guys named mohamed in the room who say “hai a/s/l”. No that was not a racial remark. Any woman who has ever been in a chat room knows that one. Ytunnel updates regularly and yes all you have to do is turn off invites and pm’s and neither come thru.
I put the nekkid on cam status message up, yes my friends did think I had lost my mind was quite funny!
I have found another way to enjoy chat without 90% of the harrassement, I simply create a private room invite only, my friends now look forward to the room because we can chat in peace.
I still dont know whos list im on but with the ytunnel upgrades and the private room chat has been fun again. Oh yes and fyi the new ytunnel takes you off the other persons list when you remove them. It also comes with an unlimited iggy bin for all the new names the harrasers come up with. Best $17 ive spent in ages, no more harrasing pm’s. Im a happy chatter thanks to ytunnel!May 30, 2003 at 6:26 pm #62398NettiMemberOk, I know we seemed to have gotten off topic a little, but Hoopy, at this point does it really matter WHO has you on their Friends List? I’m not sure I see any benefit from knowing, or am I missing something???
May 30, 2003 at 8:12 pm #62407marissaleMembercan we say duh?!?!?!
May 30, 2003 at 8:22 pm #62397NettiMemberLOL Marissale… guess you couldn’t think of a reason either. hehehehehe
May 31, 2003 at 1:29 pm #62402hoopyMemberThe point is that ytunnel stops anyone who is not on your list even if you are on theres. Since I got it my stalker who has me on his list cannot get thru with any of his names. We know that you cant find out whos list your on so I guess the only question left is… Is yahoo going to do something about the problem with add from profile without notification?

So far there is no way that anyone has known to do this. All you can do is wait until someone messages you; then remove yourself from the buddylist (go to http://www.backdoors.to./yahoo There is a thing called Deny a Buddy there that Snuggle told me about long ago. It works great. The only thing is that sometimes you have to remove and remove and remove… b/c the guys who add you keep adding after you remove them. That’s the only way I know; if anyone else knows another way PLEASE share it!

Oreo, for some reason when ever I try to click the site on I keep getting an “inalid domain” error message.http://www.backdoors.to/yahoo not http://www.backdoors.to./yahoo . 🙂
June 5, 2003 at 12:52 pm #62386BrianMemberI have forgotten about this. I tried backdoors.to/yahoo and played with it for a while. I noticed whenever I remove someone on both lists, the alias on my list WAS NOT removed for some reason but when I repeated removing, it would tell me that it does not exist on the other person’s Yahoo.
June 5, 2003 at 3:08 pm #62391OreoMember😮 Sorry about the typo…. I need to proofread BEFORE I post 😮
