:)There is a download for msn that enables you to open mutliple msn’s on the same computer (Polygamy).

Does anyone know if there is any downloads similar for yahoo messenger:confused:

Trillian will do that for you! It also saves on your computer resources by allowing you to see aol, msn, yahoo, icq and irc at the same time. I think the url is http://www.ceruleanstudios.com

Paltalk lets you also log onto AOL, MSN, ICQ, and Yahoo at the same time as being on paltalk.

what ver of Y! are you using???
if you are using Y5.5 build 1254 then here is the patch…

I have no clue about a polygamy patch for Y! 5.6

Download the zip file, extract and run YahooMulti.exe, hit ok, drag the YPager.exe from C:/Program Files/Yahoo!/Messenger into the area indicated (where it says acidx), click yes to backup. Thats it, you’re patched. You can now run as many instances of Yahoo that you could possibly want.

You should also keep in mind that if you ever re-install yahoo to fix a problem or watever, then you have to re-apply the patch.

This didn’t work for me. I downloaded the file and installed it as per Shifter’s instructions but after I clicked yes to backup, I got a message that read, “Unable to Patch File. Possible Causes: file is patched, wrong program/version or it’s running.”

I’m currently running Yahoo 5.5, build 1254. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong or why it’s not working for me?
