Try reinstalling Yahoo Messenger 5.5 build 1254. (Get it from – http://www.freecreed.com/ymsgr-archive.html) Then apply the patch.
If you are refering to the yahoomulti patch, you can get one for 5.5 here

Are you using Yahoo Messenger 5.5? It’s the only version the patch will work on. If you have the most recent version it will not work. You can find links to download 5.5 in this thread.
To use yahoo messenger with multiple logins at the same time. Does anyone have a link to that software or where I can get it? Been searching for awhile.

Yeah I uninstalled my newer version wiped the computer clean.
Downloaded the 5.5 1254, once installed I opened the patch, did the click n drag and got the error message like a previous person. Trying to uninstall everything again and try one more time.I am good ! WOOHOO .. this is awesome… I like this site.. even though when I first saw it I thought it was the “Other” blue balls. hahah lol

Scot~Just finished and released today due to the high volume of im’s and emails concerning
Y!MultiPatch my first patch for multi instancing. There may be bugs, so back up your ypager.exe before patching, if you have 5.5 or an earlier version your out of luck because i’m not going that far back. I will hopefully be working on a c++ version of the patch that will be universal across the board but until then this is what you get. If a new build comes out and I take to long to add the patch to the database im me.
