AOL has released a new build of AIM Triton.

i cant download it, i click the flashing download thing then it says “preparing your download” then it says i dont meet the minimun requirements, but i do whats up with that?

but when the older version came out i could download it fine with no problems, it said full install, web install, i did the full install and worked fine , any one got ne ideas?

i cant download the web install but i can download the full install

see whats what im talking about, i can only download the old 0.1.12 full version on a thread posted awhile ago, i cant download the new one (full install) any help will be nice

I must admit, the GUI on this client is very nice, it’s almost worth using.

because it’s still a beta. by definition it’s not completely ready yet… this is why they release betas, to figure out what they still have to do to it. of course it’s not going to work for everyone yet.

but when they first came out with it they had a “full version” and a “web version” i could install the full version alright, but when i tryed to install the new one i couldnt install it, but when someone posted when it frist came out they gave us a choice web,full i did the full but now i cant install the new version

i can download the full version but not the web version

When we release a beta, it comes with the caveats that things may not work as designed. The install issues definitely fall into that catagory. I recommend going to the beta forums so our beta team is made aware of the situation. I like to think that beta 2 is definitely moving in the right direction though. Connectivity is improved as well as no ad in the BL, though most of you have figure out how to remove it, and now we have a great live video UI. I hope future client releases can keep the fixes comming including the installer ones.
