Sorry to hear that. Well if anyone can help you out its this forum. I am still looking for skin idea’s people. I think I got the bandwidth thing fixed for now on my site so I will start making skins again 🙂

I working on my frist skin I’m hopeing to have it done by the end of the week. I need to know how to make a perview of it. Do I just paint over the old imge one or is there away to take snapshot of it once I’m done?Yes you just paint over the old image. I ussually just take a snapshot of the new skin in action then paste it over the preview image. If you need a free snap shot program, try http://www.download.com then just type in screenshot or snapshot into the search field they have a few free ones. I guess I didn’t mention that in my tutorial… somthing else to add 😀 I am looking forward to seeing your skin. I wish more people would have the time to make them.

You did mention action in your tutorial. But, I have no idea what program that is or if it’s a tool botton somewear in that ultimate paint program. By the way, thank you, for that link for that ultimate paint program link you provrided. It’s been a big help. Now, I’m not haveing the problem with the collors I was haveing in the Bitmap paint program. For some reason it wouldn’t let me use the collors I wanted to use. Like if I want to use red it would make it gray or the same collor as it was to began with. I’ll try looking for a snap shop program with the link you just provrided. Thanks agion.Yes, I don’t need to download anything. I founld that if you are useing the Uitimate Paint program. You can just go to the desktop botton and it has a capture botton. You hit that and than your messenger to make it the active window on your desktop. Then just hit capture and wal la a snapshot. Cool
How do I upload a preview for you guys to see? I sorry I asking so many questions, I just really new at this.
Cool Dice I didn’t know Ultimate Paint did that 🙂 About the color problem… I had the same thing happen to me. The problem is that microsofts paint only support 256 colors. To post a preview pic you need to upload it to a online source, like a free website (geocities) or a image host –> List of image hosts then you just use a code like this
Code:[ img]the address of where you uploaded the pic[/img]Don’t worry about the questions thats what were hear for.

Became a member today to thank Amy. AMY Thanx a lot for those amazing skins. I’m pretty sad that you cant change the white background behind the buddy list. But your color combo’s are amazing… especially the All American theme. I liked the BATTLESHIP GREY, CRIMSON NITE & BLUE. AMY thanx a ton for the skins.
Though I haven’t used skins in a while I remember two that I absolutely adored. One was the Blue Fairy skin, the fairy was even in the background. The other was the Tony Montana skin, it was just really cool. (Yeah…..I know two completely different ideas…but I’m a Gemini, I’m allowed to have a dual personality!)
Yeah unfortunatly background pictures are not really possible on the new 6.0. At least not in a zippable form inbetted with the rest of the skin 🙁 I do have a fairy themed skin on my web page but it is not blue.
