Wow, that is really freaky. I had no idea my favorite songs had bad messages in some parts…:( Oh well…Actually, the Eminem one is kinda cool and funny, he answers his own question in his song. I wonder if the artists plan these kinds of things, or if they are found out later.
This backwards song crap has been around since the 80’s, or at least I came aware of it’s existence during that time.Personally I think is just a bunch of bull created by some alarmist groups so they can criticize any type of music they don’t like. According to some studies subliminal messages don’t really affect your judgment. Songs are made to be heard in just one direction, forward.

I experimented a little bit on my own using Sound Recorder on WinXP. It has a feature that you can reverse your recording, and it plays it. It is kind of funny to listen to, it sounds like compelte gibberish.
i use sound recorder, i didnt believe the kiss kiss kiss 1 so i went and downloaded the song myself and played it backwards and heard the “i shot john lennon”
I heard the “Stairway to Heaven” one and I got scared. I clicked it off. The Britney Spears one is funny, though.
Well, how do artists do this? Do they record over their own voices or something?
Oh, and BTW, I’m not a big Beatles fan, but…did Yoko Ono really shoot John Lennon, or do you think she recorded that to get a stir out of everyone?

It was david mark chapman.. or mark david chapman. Forogt whihc way around it goes. Anyways lots of people saw him but i don’t know who yoko would do that….
