That’s the one Red Devil. Henry Sellers, his name was I think? You know, the guy who made the BBC…”I’m Henry Sellers!”
Well, father ted was on yesterday , so of course I watched it…
And god I enjoyed the old lady football chants with mrs doyle, for the islands over 75’s priest tournament… (on a side note craggy island seems to have avoided the priest shortage of the rest of Briatin, there must be about a hundred round and about there :p)
Anyway the good news is that the stage has been set for bishop Brennan to be “kicked up the jacksie” so taht classic episode should be on next week… hopefully.
I just bought “The Very Best of Father Ted” on DVD. Martin is right. It is Henry Sellers. The episodes on it are…
Competition Time
Cigarettes and Alcohol and RollerBlading
A song for Europe
Speed 3
The Mainland
A Christmassy Ted
It’s Feckin Great! DRINK!!
“Father Ted” is good craic! It’s nice to know that people here have good taste. Red Devil that’s a grand collection, I love all of those!
Yeah, the DVD is great. I’ve not had time to watch it all yet though.
I have another favourite quote from when Father Jack sobers up (in Cigarettes and Alcohol and RollerBlading)
Jack: “So what do you two do then?”
Ted: “We’re priests father”
Jack: “PRIESTS? You mean i’m still on that feckin island??”
Also when Jack sees a nun in the same episode
Jack: *Points*”Nan?”
Ted: “No Father, thats a nun”
Jack: “ARGGHH NUN!” *runs away*
😀
