Why don’t you switch Yahoo! Voice from UDP to TCP?
It will be slower, but might do the trick

July 9, 2004 at 3:48 pm #42799devildawgdadMemberUNSAKRED…..IT DOESNT MATTER WHETHER OR NOT VOICE IS ON UDP OR TCP ….CHARTER AND OTHER ISPS ARE BLOCKING THE ACTUAL VOICE PORT NUMBERS BECAUSE OF A SUSPECTED WORM VIRUS…

July 9, 2004 at 6:28 pm #42769UnSaKreDMemberAh, so they are completely blocking the port?
So no matter what protocol you use UDP/TCP,
No connection is established..
Damn
July 10, 2004 at 4:55 am #42870doodeedaMemberfrom what I gathered when I spoke with charter, those ports were blocked previously from when a virus or something like that was using those ports. the tech I spoke with said they had to gather enough information to show that this was a problem the higher up tech people needed to address. so call in if you are having problems, its the quickest way to get anything done.
July 10, 2004 at 2:29 pm #42800devildawgdadMemberDOODEEDA….THIS HAPPENED AT 3PM ON JUNE 24TH FRIDAY AFTERNOON…THIS IS NOTHING THAT HAPPENED “BEFORE”..AMOTHER CHARTER LIE

July 10, 2004 at 8:15 pm #42871aga11ahParticipantI JUST FIXED VOICE CHAT!!!
YACSOM.DLL <– go download that, then read below and follow the instructions and BOOM you got voice back, pz
1) Close YahELite and YahVox if they are running.
2) Use the windows F3 or ‘Find Files’ (on your PC) to find the YACSCOM.DLL.
For example it might find C:WINDOWSSYSTEMYACSCOM.DLL3) If you find it in a location that is likely to be a temporary location
you can copy it to a more permanent location such as the same folder
that contains the YahELite program files.4) Register the DLL so that windows puts the required info on the system
by running the command
regsvr32 C:WINDOWSSYSTEMYACSCOM.DLL
or
C:WINDOWSSYSTEMregsvr32 C:WINDOWSSYSTEMYACSCOM.DLLJuly 11, 2004 at 12:01 am #42853laceyjan02MemberOK, WHERE can we get this file at???????
