MemberThis has happened to some of my friends, and now me….a link shows up in your profile that says …
“whoaaa… look what i found, click here”
then it directs you to a porn site or something….everytime i log on it shows up in my profile. Even after I get rid of it.I think i got it from clicking on somebody else’s (when it was in thier profile).
But how do I get rid of it for good? I change my profile…but when i log back on, there it is again.
Please email me or IM me, thanx

Membermmm why dont u try first deleting cookies and temporary internet files???:)

MemberIts a virus that downloads itself as soon as you visit that site, even if you click no on the security prompt. You might also have problems where aim will send messages without you telling it too. For instance my friends aim sends this to me when i start a convo with him, “look at this, http://www.urlofsite.com, wierd….” Try uninstalling aim, this might help. Then try a virus scan if that doesnt work.

KeymasterYour buddy list is stored on AOL’s servers. You can safely uninstall and reinstall without losing your buddy list.
To be safe though, I suggest that you backup your buddy list periodically. Just go to the My AIM menu on your Buddy List, then select Save Buddy List…
This will protect you in case your list is ever damaged or lost by AOL. A rare event, but it happens.

MemberThe same thing has happened to me!! I have uninstalled an reinstalled AIM, but it still keeps coming back. I have no idea what to do. 🙁 I don’t want all my friends to have the same thing happen to them. It seems like the only thing I can do is get a new screen name. If anyone has any suggestions, please help!!

MemberIf the program that they provide doesnt work, try going to this disclaimer: http://www.realphx.com/disclaimer.htm
It provides a link to manual removal instructions at the bottom, wich is what i used also because theFirst, Click Here and Press Open.
Now, Wait twenty seconds.
Next, Click Here and Press Open.didnt work for me either. The link to the manual instructions seems the be dead as of right now.

Memberi dont know about using the disclaimer page from the place that seems to be installing this adware. the best way to get rid of this is the following if running win 2k or higher
crtl alt del
click task manager
click processes tab
find a program called just simply b
click on it and end itthen go to c:winnt or windows
find b.exe delete itnext
start > run
type in regedit
click edit and find
type in b.exe and make sure the bottom box is checked saying match entire string
it will find 1 line with the b.exe in it highlight the first row of that line and delete itnext
go to aim and delete your current profile by highlighting the whole thing and deleting it then click finish
last step
empty recycle bin
shutdown and restart computer you should be ok
and be careful on what you click on
