i always knew deadaim was a complete waste of money.
luckly there are tons of free versions of deadaim 4.0, 4.1 and 4.5 all over the internet.
ok, and where is the proof that any of that is real? sure deadAIM was/is probably a waste of a perfectly good $5, but…. that article is hardly convincing proof. how exactly did that author gain access to these “hidden” forums? surely he didnt convince someone to let him be a moderator/admin, and for as much as he hates deadAIM, surely he’s not a beta tester?
if it can come up with some actual legitimate proof of any of his content, then maybe i’ll care. until then… anything on that page could be completely made up – 100% bull. doesnt really matter to me anyway, i’m sticking with trillian.

Also, if someone wants to pay $5 for features they can find for free somewhere else on the net, it’s not my problem.
The person who gained access to this hacked into it, it took him a very long time. I also think its VERY funny that as soon as i posted that link on their site Jim comes back and says they are going to start testing a new version. I can assure you 100% that that web page is authentic and 100% truthful. When i posted it Jim or another mod just simplely deleted it, if it wasn’t true wouldn’t they have just said “thats simpley not the case”?. If you don’t want to beleive that article you don’t have to but it is true i assure you taht. If any of you don’t want to re-purchase dead aim because your subscription is up i suggest purchasing Messenger:mate, it’s a new aim add on coded by the coder of AIMutation Maurizio, he left AIMutation and made his own program that is amazing. check it out at http://www.versoworks.com It’s $5 the same price as dead aim and a new release is put out all the time, unlike dead aim.
I will ask if i can post a screen shot of the person who hacked into the hidden forums postign in them, and the person does not hate Dead aim, he’s a very active member of the forums, he just thought people should know that dead aim is screwing them over. If you do not beleive me then thats your choice, all i can do is tell you its real, i know both of the people who hacked, and made this article and can vouch for both of them that they are not lieing.

The beta post, the link is good as far as i know but it is password protected so theres no use in trying it.
I have no idea why you posted the convo, Jdennis already knows that he hacked it..It was in one of the screen shots i put up…
edit: and i also think its funny how after i posted this on their forum i was banned without them even saying “thats not true”…
I’ve never purchased DeadAIM, but I fail to see why this makes it a rip? It’s either worth the measly $5 or it’s not. It’s very simple.
Personally, I purchased a license of Trillian Pro which is 5x more expensive than DeadAIM, but it’s also worth it. How does buying DeadAIM equal a “rip?” If it does what you want, why complain?
It’s not egxactly a rip off,more like mis-leading and a waste of $5, it’s taken them nearly a year to put out a new version (which is not even out), and they did this on purpose so that peoples subscriptions would expire so they have to re-purchase it. Most people won’t think about it and will just say “oh i like the program let me buy it again”. As SOON as this article was created Jim (the coder for dead aim) magically re-appeared from his hole after about a year, and announced that the new beta was out. I just thought people would like to know that they’ve paid for a year of updates, but in fact did not actually get any updates. The article is more to inform people about their tatics. They also talk about stealing codes from AIMutation and other programs and adding their codes to DeadAim to make it skinable and other things.
Jim probably had the beta ready to go out last summer most likely. It’s amazing when Deadaim true tatics are finally out in the open Jim comes back.
can’t the person who got into the two deadaim secret forums now download the new deadaim and pass it along to people?
If you’re paying for a program on a subscription basis (like Messenger:Mate), I’m definitly going to expect updates more often than not.
This has been proven, and people are already pissed off in the IM market with what happened on YTunnel Pro.
Oh, and for the fact, messenger:mate for MSN Messenger was also accused of stealing coding as well. So, before you go off and prasing M:M, know that they were in that circle as well.
Why waste your time typing your credit card number for a program that can be found for free, and be assured updates are in the works (such as aimutation and Messenger Plus!). 🙂
