Do the ad-removers posted for 7.5 no longer work for this one? They worked for me on 8 beta but now the ad just won’t go away…

It will look like no one is talking. Everyone will be ignored if there not on your list!!!If you ignore someone in a chat room they are ignored untill you turn off Yahoo messenger, No limitations on how many you ignore.

Yahoo need to offer Spam Filters locally like clients
They are getting there, as you said about the ignore, in chat it is now local ignoring. (about time)
now we want local adjustable filter system (wildcards, regular expressions)
i noticed they changed the way the ad works on the bottom of the buddylist.
will look into killing it and update ad destroy.
I got YM 8.0 two days back. The Voice Conference does not work. And this morning, Ym can’t even sign me in!!! If this is good, I’d hate to see “bad!!!!”
did you uninstall the old messenger before you installed messenger 8. if no, I any surprised that is the only bug your getting.
I just tried conference with voice and it worked perfect.
