Have been working on Ad Destroy 3.1 and will have it finished soon.
it will around about these options..
- Allow the user to enable Tabbed IM’s (extremely buggy on yahoo!’s side)
- Disable and Enable the Word Filter on Y! Messenger
- Toggle Nickname Support on/off on Y! Messenger (works on latest 8.1.0.249 build)
- Add registry ad Entries for Builds 6.0.x to 8.1.0.249
- Remove Buddy list Advertisement on Builds 8.0.0.682 -> 8.1.0.249
- Enable Polygamy Support for all Builds of 8.0/8.1 Y! Messenger
- Will offer Webcam “Blank.html” and “About:Blank” support to stop cam ad lag
- Will stop and start Y! Messenger in Patching Process now!
- Will delete urls.xml and create it’s own

When finished i will post it on my site, if you think i should add anything, let me know here or there.

Why would you need to delete and add a modified urls.xml ?
Just curious because if you patch it correctly there is no need to modify urls.xml.
because i patch it different and it will read local url in the xml if not from the exe
Therefore i just delete it and create my own and change its file attribute.
not hard really, just another way to stop the ad been seen.
theres no proper correct way to patch a file, or standard, depends on build, type, type of patch, some work some dont.. etc.
You probally still patch the urls word, i dont…why you would think different.

doesn’t know what he is talking about. The way I patch it, I actually
installed and tested the patch on 8.0.0.682 all the way to 8.1.0.249Look I am glad you are improving your ad remover and adding more options.
Just don’t treat me like I am noob programmer that doesn’t know anything.I asked the question about the urls.xml for the simple reason that there use
to be a method that would need the urls.xml modified but in doing so the
Categories List wouldn’t load. That was why I asked, not to belittle you.Hi fellows,

my room categories load fine but as you know one patch works better than the other then that could change swiftly so i go with what works with me, people can choose to use it or not, i give no guarantees and no prices as i will patch the latest build and will share it with whomever decides to use it.
No need to take things so serious, if i took everything you’ve jumped on me so far about ad destroy i could say belittle but im not that shallow and i don’t use the word “noob” 🙂
Freeware is freeware and as most some works and some doesn’t.

Yeah i been saying i was gonna release Ad Destroy 3.1 but i been tied up in Ad destroy .NET for vista users (which is close enough to been finished)
anyways only one thing i didn’t add which was the voice entry which i will in next.
Polygamy, nickname toggling and tabbed im’s and chat wordfilter options are there.
(Yes i know there is a problem with tabbed im’s and you’re clearly noted about such)
Will patch the buddylist ad from builds 8.0.0.682 to 8.1.0.249
