Memberhaha we all love to listen to other people tell how they have made fools of themselves when they are drunk! so guys! share away! ill start the ball rolling. 🙂
so, my story starts at a friends house. we were getting ready to hit some partys somewhere when his big sister asked if we wanted to hang with her and her mates (all at least 4 years older then us) anyway, it was pretty cool cause we we’re hanging with all the older girls and they we’re pretty flirty. naturally i was loving it. some how the conversation turned to how much we can drink bein 17 and all. so i tried to show off and got a cheap bottle of vodka (kristov) and started to skull. now this bottle is a pretty big bottle hahaha. naturally i was burning inside but i kept going. i ended up just opening that thing in ya chest that lets you swallow and i just poured it into the bottom of my stomach. it took me about a minute to get it down. (now this is pretty impressive if you ask me) but id never do it ever again. i was off my face. i was sooo wasted heh. i don’t remember much except a few things that happend. i remember me in the middle of a intersection outside the flat with my pants down. i also remember EVERYONE yelling at me telling me to strip. a lot of silly things like that happend that night. but when i woke up i was told how i stripped in the middle of a intersection in town and walked up to some girls and started dancing around them -_-
the next day i was still pretty drunk and went to the beach. i done a dare of pole vaulting off a MASSIVE sand dune with a stick. let me just say im glad i still had alcohol in my system. the stick broke and i fell about 5 meters to the bottom of this cliff like sand dune. i lay there for about 10 minutes. i was wounded and coughing blood. turns out i had shatterd a vertibre and was pretty much imobile for a month.
the end.
hahaha 😀

MemberI’ve shared this one on the forum before. I was walking back from a frat party, and one of the brothers was making sure I got home okay. I was talking with him and not paying attention to what I was doing, and I smacked my face into a yield sign. I walked right into it!
Someone send me an email or a PM if you want more 😀

MemberLOL you actually just walked straight into a sign?
‘sigh.. if only there were cameras watching us all the time. i would have loved to see that one.April 15, 2005 at 6:33 pm #119515gossipingrae
Memberoh yeah, the right side of my face was bruised for like 2 weeks. of course, i didn’t feel it when i just walked into the sign, because, you know, all that jungle juice made me numb…but anyway, i was feeling it the next morning.

MemberAh nothing seriously happened with me. The first time I seriously got drunk (I got seriously drunk just once and drunk only once too. But i hv drunk like max 5 or 6 times :P). So yeah. It was after I was done with my part time job and my friends took me to one of their friends home and they started drink. I was maintaining “I don’t drink” stuff, but then, I joined them after 5 seconds of coaxing :P.
After I drank like 6 or 7 glasses of Bacardi, I was like shaking.. But then this friend, who was like observing me, said “Dude.. U r not even falling over. Means u need to drink more. Whichmeans here u goooooo” and poured like the remaining bottle in my mouth.
I was still standing up. they dropped me at my home and I walked to my room and offcourse I just passed out for the night.5 days latter I was going to Amsterdam in KLM, and I drank like 3 bottles of beer. Dont remember or know what brand they were, but trust me. They were STRONG. I was also like shaking and all.. And had my glass of water and some drinks left on the seat tray. Dont know what happened but I like threw off my hand and threethe remaining drinks down on my neighbour’s pants 😐 He was kind enough to understand my problem and cleaned himself and also cleaned my stuff as I was pretty much asleep.
So yeah.. Dats it, uninteresting drunk stories of mine…..

Alcohol messes you up, but it’s fun. And it’s fun when you don’t remember what happened the night before, and your friends have to tell you about it.
Bottoms up!

MemberOreo wrote:mmm… well…the ones I could share I don’t remember and the others…well…I DO have a reputation to keep 😀Ahh thankfully I don’t have a reputation to keep! tee hee. Think my funniest although I was not drunk drunk was when I was about 20, we went to this village race – meant to be wheelbarrows etc. Anyway my friend Sean wanted to do it all he had was a shopping trolley haha. I had had a few and it was a hot summers day. The rules were push your partner to the next pub, down and drink in one swap over and run the the finish line. So Sarah jumps in, laughing all the way, he was shouting at me to take it seriously which actually made me giggle and laugh even more. So we get to the first stop we drink our drinks down in one and swap over.
Sarah takes the reins! Bad idea I cannot push it one way or the other! Get to the top of this hill and cannot hold on any longer. So he is flying down the hill without me holding on, Sarah collapses in a heap of laughter with everyone else…. the poor guy trying like made to get out getting faster and faster down the hill. Till he collides with a parked car. Thankfully he is ok but the guy in the car just sat shaking his head. Sean then shouts at me to get my butt back in the trolley which I do but with stomach cramps from laughing so much. We end up last in the race and poor Sean is sick on the side of the road due to pushing me all the way around the course. Sarah goes and grabs another beer! :0) and 17 years later his still has never forgiven me! hehe

MemberThis might be funny and all to some people, but I don’t think it is appropriate for BBB. After all, we do have some (a lot of) underage kids hear that really don’t need to be hearing that “Getting drunk is fun”. They already have enough people telling them to drink, they don’t need a forum that is supposed to be for people of all ages to also be telling them. That is just my opinion.

ParticipantMoved from Off Topic, I don’t know who moderates this forum, but I have to agree with Colin that this is not appropriate.

KeymasterYou can always see who the moderator is (it’s listed at the bottom of each forum). In the case of the Off Topic forum, that’s detn8r and sciencefeeling.
I personally didn’t think this topic was inappropriate. People share a lot of things that could be considered questionable behavior, but that doesn’t imply endorsement of BBB. That being said, I’d ideally like to see some balanced expressed in some of the posts.
It’s not illegal to get drunk. Just because not everyone here is of legal drinking age, that doesn’t mean we can’t discuss the issue.
My $0.02 worth. Graham or Natalia — feel free to clean this thread up and move back if you feel it’s worth keeping.

KeymasterFirst off, people sharing their story and their opinions does not imply endorsement by BigBlueBall. Pick almost any topic and you’ll find a variety of opinions on it. Second, drinking laws vary from one location to another. In the Netherlands, the legal drinking age is 16. I suggest we leave it up to each person to share what they feel comfortable with.
I have a few stories I could tell, but I’m not inclined to do so in so public a place. Why? Because they are embarrassing. Getting totally drunk often is not fun. Feeling awful the next day, or worse, getting sick, is not a pleasurable experience. That’s not to say that some of the stories aren’t funny. Sometimes you have to look back and laugh at the stupid things you’ve done.

ParticipantJust to get an adverse story in here that doesn’t get the idea of “getting drunk is fun” across….
The one and only time I got drunk I don’t recall so clearly what happened, my fiancee had left me a month before, I was still living with him, his new girlfriend called, I hung up on her…apparently I said some hurtful things, giggling like mad the entire time, went upstairs, cried like crazy, came downstairs where my exfiancee promptly told me “I want you the feck out of my house”. I refused, he left the house, I chased after him and lost my shoes. Went inside where I cried s’more, was sick, went to sleep for two hours, my first hangover, woke up alone, packed and left. Thus starting another downward spiral in my life that still effects me to this day, about one year later.
Needless to say, I don’t drink.
