Sometimes ago I had same problem. I didn’t found anything.
If you are searching for messaging system for LAN try to use ICQ Corporate Edition or any IRC server.Quote:quote:Originally posted by matttrenFirst of all does anyone remember how to hex aim so you can have two clients open simuntatiously?
Just copy aim.exe into any other file (for example aim2.exe).
Find & replace in aim2.exe string “_Oscar_AppMutex” by anything else.
Now you can run aim2.exe to start second AIM copy.
BTW, easiest way to use any of AIM addons, almost all have cloning feature.Quote:quote:Originally posted by matttrenSecond of all how to you link screen names? I did it, but it is sort of backwards. It confuses me.
Same problem. This feature doesn’t working for me to. I’m not using proxies/firewalls, but it doesn’t want to work.
Some good tech docs about OSCAR. It is enougth to create own client:
http://iserverd1.khstu.ru/oscar/index.html
http://aimdoc.sourceforge.net/OSCARdoc/Intersting list of ideas. But some questions:
Appear invisible (shows you as offline while you are on AIM)
This can do pure AIM 5.5. Or you mean something else?
Change window style to toolwindow
I do not understand this. What is it? Can you explain this?
Hide Away message divider
As I understand, in profile or elsewere?
Center Away Message/center profile
You mean align text in middle? If so, this is impossble, I think. AIM ate32 classes do not support HTML ortags. Or it has some specific tags?
Aligning with writespaces impossible, cause window width is unknown.
It seems, this feature impossible.Quote:quote:Originally posted by f0rbezsame here but didnt detect any spyware
Surely, because this is not spyware and has no spyware-like code 🙂
AIM 5.5.3572 have option “Show AIM.com window at sign on”. After disabling it I have no problems with AIM Today window. Or it appears anywhere else?
