Ok, ok…
I did not noticed there java ones…anyway it does not sound good to call me “smartass” becuase of that…
Isn’t it funny – it took 5 months to finally answer “correctly” on the question in this topic!!!
Only last 2 posts do references to Java based web MSN clients…can not login – it just hangs after I do my login and nether shows a contact list…
and old version is not stable at all – throw me out often.so, looks like http://www.msnger.com and http://www.msn2go.com are better options now.

It’s not a “fake” site. You probably got some network or may be internal server problem.
There are a lot of people using this server and it’s absolutely fine.
Of course nobody guarantee the server itself does not collect your information…But you can create a new dummy passport/hotmail account and check this site without a risk to your own hotmail box – it really does MSN messenger job…
P.S. just do no want to look like I try to scam somebody here!
It seems to me all these methods does not help everythere.
Many companies disable *.hotmail.com at their firewall and even if you use IP address – firewall does a lookup and check for a domain name.So, there is no way in these cases rather then web-based MSN solutions…
Fortunatelly there are several of them and you can choose the one you like more. Of course they can not be so comfortable like a desktop MSN version, but at least it’s the way to communicate.
Try http://www.msnger.com – it’s very simple, but works fast.
Or use google and find another one you like.
