I fixed the problem. I have a netgear router aswell. A wgr614 , v4. You need to upgrade your firmware on your router to the latest version. Go to the netgear website and go from there. Also, don’t upgrade it wirelessly, do it with an ethernet cable. Now this fixed it for me, and a number of other people. So it might work for you.
