CherryKissMemberAhhhhh that shadow we call Romance. That emotion or experience that we seldom get in our day to day lives. Everyones different so heres a couple of my ideas of a romantic night….
Forget the kids for one single night, and give me twilights stars
Forget the candles, give the full moon to see my loves eyes
Forget the food, give me my mans full lips to sup upon
Forget the bathtub, give me deep blue water in which to bathe him
Forget the bed, let me lay with him on a blanket of warm sand, to have the nights sky as our canopy
Forget the music piping through the radio, let me sing to him my sirens song
Forget words that don’t need to be said, let me kiss him as passionately as I did when we first metOr my romantic date could be something like this too ……(Ahem, with the “right” man of course……)
KIDS? – Whose? Mine or his?
PLACE – Now does that really matter when your with the one you THINK you love?
LIGHTS – You know those cheesy red tavern ones? …..Or the ones accompanied by sirens?
FOOD Meat AND potatoes (IF you catch my drift) Cut through the veggies and get to the real stuff.
MUSIC – Any (My man singing off key suits)Note: There is one single thing these both have in common – Neither require talking.
CherryKissMember:)Well anyone who knows me, knows that this is one topic I would never pass up on . I have been on the various IM services for 2 years now and have met several friends from all around the world. I count myself lucky to have met them and keep in contact with each one on a weekly basis. I have introduced ones that have fallen madly in love on the net, met eachother, married and tell me they are still going strong. I have known others that meet and immediately email me telling me that the person they thought they loved misrepresented themselves in one way or the other. OR that they were attracted to them mentally but not physically. I agree with Holli, its most important to speak your mind and NOT lie about anything. I say that internet love can be more fulfilling than love in “real” life love in many aspects. In real life chances are you won’t find a persons flaws due to lack of looking beyond looks or sex. On the net you have to do just that, Look beyond. You have to find a common ground with a person mentally and not physically. Thats probably why it effects those of us that do fall in love so deeply. There is a certain satisfaction (especially for females) that a person is not just wanted for sex or looks but for their mind and lifes ideals as well. THAT is a major point for me. In person – Most will see me and fall at my feet. On the net – They like me for my brain power or they don’t like me at all. Period. I have been in love on the net, though I never met Him. Life can be so unfair sometimes, but the love is still there, it will not go away simply because the relationship is over. Its haunting and sad, its absolutely splendid and keeps me going, all those lovely memories. I can live my life the way I want due to him and his love I once felt. He opened my eyes and gave me a glimpse of what “REAL” love is. Love on the net is overwelming, exciting, and under rated. I say enjoy it to its fullness, I say grab that man by his virtual ears and lay one on him.
CherryKissMemberI agree with Jeff on all his points. I not only received messages from my friends on Odigo but on ICQ as well. AND not only from Israel but India too. Needless to say I contacted the FBI straight away and they took my call VERY seriously. I know that they followed up on all the information I gave them as my friends said that they were contacted by the very same individual that I spoke with. On Odigo I received forboding messages at least 3 months in advance as to how the people back east felt about Americans – BUT that is not what surprises me, What does is that our ARMED forces are now saying that the American public didn’t grant them the funding needed to take care of a matter like this should it happen. That they KNEW it would happen just not WHEN it would take place. They say they knew we were at risk but its OUR own fault for not making sure they were prepared to handle the consequences. Well now……Last I heard WE THE PEOPLE (civilians) were handling the situation quite well. Last I heard – We had enough bombs that we were actually running out of places to destroy without killing civilians. I would say that the AMERICAN public is doing splendid. Just what the hell are the Armed forces talking about anyways? I say they should stop whining especially since they claim they knew BEFOREHAND that some tragedy would befall us and take care of business, everyone else appears to be.
CherryKissMemberI have no clue what this chat is but when you find out Jeff…be sure to let the “mac kiss” know, would you? I will give it a try.
