I have another suggestion to opt to:
*first log in to your account at yahoo
*then copy and paste this link to the address box: http://edit.yahoo.com/config/set_intl?.child=&.scrumb=0&.done=http%3a//edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_profile%3f.done=http%3a//my.yahoo.com/%26.scrumb=0
*then just choose the first language selection (which is probably english-US)
*when the TOA (terms of agreement) appears just click the first button and there you go!
