MemberA nice feature added to Yahoo Messenger, (for those of us with more than one screen name), would be a drop-down menu with a memory of, say….. the last 5 names logged in. That way we wouldn’t have to retype the login names every time we switched to a different one. And as with Yahoo’s mail feature, “Auto Complete” for e-mail addresses, give us the choice to turn it on or off.

MemberHey, Yahoo Messenger and SMS works great for my wife and me. We live in the Philippines and everyone in the Philippines is an “SMS Text Fanatic”… 🙂 Been using SMS with YH Messenger for over a year with the local telecommunications company service, “SMART”. When I’m at work and my wife is out of the house away from the computer, I can send text messages direct to her “hand phone” and she sends directly back to my computer. Works great for keeping in touch. (Each message is limited to 160 characters) When she sets her Messenger to SMS it shows in my Yahoo Messenger Window… “I’m on SMS”
And it’s very cheap to send SMS messages!Defcom A
MemberThanks WhiteMateria….. So far, it seems you’re the only other person that has tried IMSecure. I’ll have to go with the majority here, and you are it! I’ll spend my money elsewhere. But I have to say, It really pisses me off because it was working fine at first then just crapped out like that. And since I wrote this it also quit working on my wife’s computer the same way! And it was working fine there at first…………..

MemberOK….. this is serious. As of now, 23 people have read my “Problem” and no one has said one word. Is ANYONE else out there using IMsecure or IMsecure Pro with Yahoo Messenger? If you’re using either one, is it working properly or is it giving you problems?

MemberThanks for the suggestion, but I’ve already been there and their Virtual On Line Help focuses plenty of Zone Alarm problems but not much for IMsecure Pro. And The darn thing keeps going back to network connectivity problems, which I don’t have. I can connect fine. The program starts fine, but it doesn’t encrypt my messages any more and it’s not logging actions anymore. ZL Help doesn’t address any of those issues. I suppose they want me to spend $2.95 a minute on their “Premium Phone Help” to figure out what’s wrong with their product. Hello….. Zone Labs, is anyone out there? I’m using your 15 day trial program….. I want to buy the registered version…… But if the registered version of IMsecure Pro is anything like the trial…. You aint gettin’ my dough!

MemberCan anyone help me with IMsecure Pro from Zone Labs? Strange things are happening. I downloaded the 15 day free trial of IMsecure Pro and installed it on a computer running Win2000. It worked fine for a short time. Then a window opend behind the IMsecure control panel window. I didn’t pay much attention to it and clicked it shut. I started using my Yahoo Messenger with IMsecure Pro and things were going good. Upon starting the computer the second time, the Imsecure Pro panel opened automatically as it should, and that same unusual window opened behind it again. Problem is, I closed it again and didn’t get a good look at the file or folder that was in it… something about Windows. Since the second time that unusual window opened, my IMsecure is disabled…. the program opens and everything looks normal but it’s not encrypting my chat messages. And I can’t seem to get that unusual window to pop up again to check it out. I get no indication that IMsecure is working in my Messenger. Does anyone know what’s going on here? Any simular problems out there?
Additionally I had IMsecure Pro (15 day trial) installed on my Laptop (Different computer from above) and it was working great. Three days after I installed IMS Pro I decided to format my laptop hard drive and reinstalled Win XP Pro from scratch. Downloaded a fresh copy of Yahoo Messenger from the web, and re-installed IMsecure Pro. Now it doesn’t work on my laptop. Are there some settings in Windows XP that I need to change? I was going to buy the registered version after the 15 day free trial, but not until it works! Can anyone help me here? Is some outside source blocking IMsecure?

MemberHey Yahoo, Please get the bugs out so it works properly. And how about giving us message encryption so if we choose we can keep our private chats private.
