That’s a good question Jeff. For the most part, food borne illnesses go under reported, mainly because people get over the illness pretty quickly. Even e.coli isn’t all that serious, unless it is the dreaded EHEC. I once fell victim to “food poisening” and it was difficult to pinpoint exactly what food caused it. :sick:
I am thinking that your idea that E. coli has always been a problem, but we are getting better at diagnosing/reporting it is correct. The whole system is automated now, which is an improvement to how it used to be done.
I usually skip breakfast, I prefer to sleep in, but when I do have it I usually like hot cocoa and a banana. Yum ;]

That was a really interesting read Jeff! I cannot believe we never put you in the spotlight before. I must say that I am lucky to have stumbled upon this great forum. It is too bad that I cannot visit as often as I used to, but seeing BBB grow and thrive always makes me smile 🙂
Meeting you and Shifter in person was awesome in itself. I must agree with you about the joy in meeting people and making friends. BBB has grown a lot since the earlier days, but the friendly atmosphere has always been a stonghold here.

Thanks for the well-wishes, but y’all don’t need to worry too much, I will still come here. I just felt it was my time to retire as a staff member. School and career have started to take over, and I just won’t be on the Internet enough to devote myself as much as the staff team deserves from me. I will have some great summer stories to share when I come back from my vacation though. WHOO! 😀
Cartman. Anything that little nutter does is hilarious. My two favorite episodes are heavily Cartman based…”Cartmanland” and “Casa Bonita.” I don’t know if those are the actual titles, but I am sure you get the idea. :p
