Does your work have a dial-up connection? I used to have dial-up and after I upgraded AIM, the exact same problem occured. You might want to stick to the older version.

Well, you first have to find a picture you like and save it, than in some form of photo shop editor you can change the size to 50pixels by 50pixels. Paint brush works, but you’d have to save it as a .bmp or you’ll lose the quality.

Hey Tiger, it looks like you can only use the icons on their site(original icons), am I doin’ somehting wrong?

I have windows 3.1, ya know, the ancient version that was really cool about eight years ago. It works better than my tempermental Win 98 too. 🙂

All you have to do is go to buddy icons under preferences, click browse, then where it says “file name” type in that space *.wav hit enter, and then search for your wav file. It works well, but make sure it is not too big. 😉
