Haha…yeah. We had to watch a video about him in English class one time because his lyrics and stuff are suppose to be all amazing. I don’t think he faked his death, Biggie and Tupac are both dead, face it and move on.

Well, first off what do you mean by “softcam”? Is that a particular program, or do you mean software for your cam? Assuming you mean the second choice, it sounds to me like you want to be able to have your cam available with more than 1 instance of it. If that is what you want to do, there really is no point. Someone in another room cannot see that you are on cam, but if they have your ID they can view it still.
It sounds to me like you’re on something like Windows 98, or a really older version of Yahoo! Messenger, back when it was still called Yahoo! Pager…

Fill out the info to get a new password, assuming you remember what you put when you created the ID. Make sure your passwords are combinations of letters and numbers as well to make it harder for crackers to get them.

I know what you’re talking about, when I start Messenger 6, it refreshes IE about 2 or 3 times, but I don’t have as bad as a problem as you apparently do. Might just be a problem with your IE on Windows 2000.

I am not complaining, in fact UnSaKreD and I are pretty good friends. I was simply asking. Justified you don’t have to get smart, I was not trying to be mean, just saying, even now, you can still delete the 2 other post and put their content into the first. It is the forum rules, not mine. Just trying to help you out since it seems like they are always very strict on what I do 🙁
Ok, well I am on 56k but I’ve had this problem before where sometimes it will be choppy. Go to sound recorder while you’re on the net, and record something. Then play it back, if it is all fast and choppy and kinda scary sounding, then you have another program that is using your sound driver or something, so it’s messing it up when you’re on Yahoo!.
I know, but, seriously, there is no redirect. Click view/source, NO REDIRECT. There are apparently 2 pop-ups though from that free hosting they were on. Maybe it was changed at the time you viewed who knows. And yes, I know I am not a moderator. But I will be when me and my buddies start our own forums that don’t ban sites after they clean up their content as asked *cough*. Anyway, back to the topic, you can’t stop booter sites, but you can (virtually) stop booting, at least on Yahoo!. There are several ways of stopping it, as mentioned in other posts, like using an alternative 3rd party chat client that uses Yahoos’ servers but is different software so it won’t be booted (most of the time).
Oreo, they are called “advertisments” and they pop up. It does not redirect. Clown.Boy, I will say that it is worth the effort, true the sites will be back, but after 2-3 years max they realize how dumb it is and usually close down :p. Oh and I just looked at Clown.Boys’ profile it contains a link to a website with profanity! OH NO! Funny you didn’t change that but you guys are all over me.

EDIT: It does not make a difference whether or not you did it, there is profanity on the first page and it redirects to another. Cut it out.
Well, a packet sniffer is a…packet sniffer lol. Basically lets you see all the packets a program is sending/receiving, ideally used to make your own program using Yahoos’ servers, like a 3rd party chat client.
No detn8r, I didn’t miss the thread title, I am referring to how he said he just wants to be able to annoy people without being booted. I first assumed he was getting booted from just plain old mean people but now I know why and I shouldn’t have helped in the first place. Thank you for getting unnecessarily smart with me. 🙂
Ew, don’t say Pager lol. Anyway, I bet it is a new little exploit some “programmer” found. Or maybe, they are just entering the room on a prog just to connect to voice, not actually bringing the ID in. So, seems to me you were ignoring people by right clicking on the names of people who are in the chat room. If they aren’t in the room, open the main messenger window and go to login/preferences/ignore list and manually type the persons ID who is on the mic.
