So if anyone could please help me I will be most grateful and most impressed.i had this problem once , and wht i did was i could get in to conection preference wit out long in to yahoo mgr( messenger/conection preferenes). and u will have to choose Firewall with no proxis, and usually u will get a mssg saying u will have to re log into yahoo msgr for the activation,and then u will get ur sign in screen back (it did work for me tho) but if u don’ want to log in wit firewall u can just go back to messenger/conection preferenes befor log in to yahoo and u can choose just no proxies and usually u will get the activaton notice again u don’t have to worry abt tht but the point is u will get ur sign in screen back.:p hope it will work for u too

Is there any other way to fix this?Herssay, actually if u are tryiing to apply tht HARRYPOTTER skin ,it wouldn’t work anyhow, b’coz tht HARRYPOTTER once are for the older versions of yahoo msgr , so if u are trying to apply tht to the 6,0 version it woldn’t work . if u want some cool skins for the 6’0 version u can get some here http://www.skinsgallery.com/gallery/ , download someting tht says for the new version n try wht shifter says , ( i assume u r useing the 6’0 version) it should work then.
Wowww maan, u just made my day:D it iss working now yes u wer rite thr was two folders n moved the second one in to yahoo graphics ,and conected to yahoo msgr , then thr was my new skinnnn:p thx sooo much man, 😉 am sure i will come back here again so c u around…:D
Hi,thx for u ppls replys, yes i realised the harry potter once i was trying to apply was for the older version, so then i did find some new once for the 6,0 version, and i went to”C:Program FilesYahoo!SharedGraphics” and moved to thr , and i disconected the msgr completely (no icon in the system tray) and then conected again n tried to see if thr was new skins on yahoo drop list but sadly thr was only the old once:( this really annoyin me 🙁

thx for your reply , here u can download harry potter skins for yahoo msgr http://www.wheezieprod.com/HPskins.htm. I went to that site ,but i can’t say it did help , i will just tell u wht i did so then u can understand whts going on.
First of all i saved to my disk those skins and , i double clicked it then i got a new folder named harrypotter, and i double clicked it again then it opend wit about 100 diff pic’s , and then am stuck thr thr is no whr i can click or nothin really linked to apply this to yahoo . i tried to right click on the first folder n selected extract all ….. but then the same result, sso wht am i doing wrong here?

I followed shifters advice step by step , but whn I came across to the 6th one which is click on the link (editprofile) I can’t see anything like it and all its in chinese, so wht is he mean by click editprofile??? does he mean sign in to another account of the same id n click thr???:confused: pls help me thank u 🙂
