I’ve had this happened to me once or twice before – once a friend blocked me by mistake and another time he left his messenger open and his smartass sister blocked me.

Create a new Yahoo profile (Login / My Profiles) and try to IM using it. That usually gets through. If not, then you can always create a whole new Yahoo Login and then IM from there!
