thanks for reminding me that i posted this.. we fixed it.
we installed and ran AdAware

and went through her start-up menu

and cleaned things up. Some of the things on her start-up menu weren’t at greatis.com but a google search identified most of them. A few other glitches cleared up after this too.

okay, there wasn’t any “open” option
and
the closest program i could use to get to doodle was yahoo messenger itself. IMVironments are inside a ‘cache’ folder, and the doodle is an XML document. this is what i get when i click on it
F:Program FilesYahoo!Messengercacheimvironments.xml

when i open the files with yahoo messenger it simply gives me the main messenger window

I believe this is the extension of the files:
.ŸÄAŸ
I get this when windows tells me it can’t identify them, and gives me the option to click a link for help from the internet.
I haven’t had success trying to open the files with any of the programs i have.
I’d be appreciative to be able to mail you a file, I’ll have to send it as anattachment which the email here won’t allow. I emailed you my yahoo email so I can do this..
