But there is a selection to sign-in as invisible in AIM 6…it just doesn’t remember its setting at each restart of the program as does MSN and Yahoo…

Looks as though everything has corrected itself…at least on my end anyhow…
Seems to have been somehow related to the release date of the new AOL webmail…only a few days after that was up and running correctly…my AIM client returned to normal function…:D
Same problem with the ‘You will not receive Mail and AOL Alerts’ message…version 5.9.3702…
Still on dial-up here…no AIM disconnect…just the message at sign-on…started this week…First of all…I was only trying to help the person…
Second of all…I don’t see an edit option above my postings…
Third…I think it’s more ‘annoying’ the way you speak to people on this forum…lighten up a bit…
I don’t think it’s annoying when someone is just trying to assist…
And double-clicking on that icon doesn’t return it to the regular MSN…I can only tell ya to exit MSN…uninstall and reinstall Plus…should retain settings…
Also…did you double-click on the msnmsgs.msi that you located and select the repair option…
Then try installation again…
I just successfully downloaded/installed without any error messages…
Hmm…let me see if I can find a solution to your problem anywhere…
